On March 8, 2023, the Town Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance #2023-01 entitled An Ordinance to Add Standards and Requirements for Solar Energy Systems to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Lyndon Code. Said ordinance is to (1) add “Solar Energy Systems” to Sec. 9.20 Definitions, and (2) Create Sec. 9.28 General Provisions, and (3) Revise Chapter 10 Zoning Districts to include in Permitted and Conditional Uses “Solar energy systems, large-scale”, “Solar energy systems, mid-scale”, “Solar energy systems, small-scale”, and (4) Create Sec. 9.27 Solar Energy Systems (SES).

Ord #2022-03 To Repeal/Replace Ch. 9.22 Public Hearing Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Lyndon will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Kris Hughes Memorial Town Hall, W6081 County Road N, at 7:00 pm, to consider adoption of:
Ordinance #2022-01 entitled AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL AND REPLACE CHAPTER 9.22 OF THE TOWN OF LYNDON ZONING CODE. (Current Chapter 9.22 entitled “Personal Wireless Service Facilities”.) Said ordinance is proposed to replace the chapter with Exhibit A, and is available at the town clerk’s office and on the town’s website: www.townoflyndon.com.

Public Comment is welcomed. The Town Board will act on the Ordinance approval at the regular monthly meeting, which will follow the public hearing on February 9, 2022.

Form EL-163 “Notification of Noncadidacy” was received in the office of the clerk on 11/10/2021 from Town Board Supervisor Patricia C. Roby. This form states that she has chosen not to be a candidate for this office in the next election, and she understands that the timely receipt of this notice will avoid an extension of the deadline for filing ballot access documents.

Public Nuisance Ordinance #2020-03
On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the Town of Lyndon Board of Supervisors has enacted Ordinance #2020-03, An Ordinance Creating Section 3.03 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Lyndon Regarding Public Nuisances. On the same date, the board further repealed 4.1 of the Town Ordinances, and adopted Ch. 947 of the Wisconsin Statutes. You can view the ordinance here.

All 2nd installment real estate tax payments MUST be sent to: Sheboygan County Treasurer, 508 New York Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. Any payments left in the dropbox at the town hall will be returned to the payer and could possibly result in an untimely payment of their taxes.
